- Live Sheep Dog Herding – 11am and 2pm (outside)
- Live Sheep Shearing by Pinnacle Haven Farm (outside)
- Visit the Cheff Field’s Farm Alpacas and learn about fleece (outside)
- Drop Spindle demonstration (in the Exhibit Hall)
- Small Loom Weaving by various local artists. Try your hand! (in the Exhibit Hall)
- Inkle Weaving – watch fibre become a strap! (in the Exhibit Hall)
- Flax Processing by the Deep River Weaver’s Guild! Come see flax become fibre for linen (outside)
- Yarn Dyeing for all ages by Jenny Croft of the Trapper’s Wife (outside)
- Circular Sock Knitting by local artist July Morin (in the Exhibit Hall)
Relax, Visit, Craft and Play!
- Stop by our Tea Room for a $5 treat and cup of locally foraged teas by the Algonquin Tea Company!
- Bring a project and enjoy catching up with a friend at our Sit & Stitch area (free!)
- Enjoy a tour of the fairgrounds with John Vereyken’s beautiful Shire Horse Drawn Wagon! (free!)
- Browse the Quilt Gallery in the Exhibit Hall and read the hand written stories behind the quilts
- Enjoy musical entertainment by local musician, Dale Yuke.
- Enjoy lunch by one of our Food Vendors, or the Beachburg Ag Society’s own Burger Booth!
