Beachburg Fair Announces New Dates for 2023, July 6th – July 9th:
Four Days of Fun and Excitement!
Beachburg, Ontario – The Beachburg Agricultural Society (BAS), the not-for-profit organization behind the annual Beachburg Fair, is proud to announce some big changes for 2023. The event, a beloved tradition historically held at the end of July, will be taking place from Thursday, July 6th to Sunday, July 9th. Additionally, the fair is excited to welcome a new midway provider, Robertson Amusements LTD, to the festivities.
The dates for the 2023 Beachburg Fair were changed due to circumstances beyond the fair board’s control. The Society’s long-standing midway provider, World’s Finest Shows Inc, notified the BAS late last year that they weren’t able to provide their services for the 2023 season. This has caused significant disruption, for not only the Beachburg Fair, but for neighbouring fairs in Cobden and Almonte.
The BAS is committed to providing a high-quality experience for all fairgoers and, in response to this news, has worked diligently to secure a partnership with Robertson Amusements LTD. The caveat being, however, that they were only available to come to Beachburg the first weekend in July.
“I’m really proud of the Board for pivoting and finding a solution to our Midway dilemma,” shares Dave MacKay, BAS president. “We understand that this may cause inconvenience for some, but this decision was necessary to ensure that we continue to provide the best possible experience for all. Despite the curveball thrown at us, we’re excited to have Robertson Amusements joining the fair this year.”
Robertson Amusements has been in the amusement industry for over 40 years and is known for its high quality rides and attractions. With their addition to the fair, visitors can look forward to a wide variety of thrilling rides and games for all ages.
Event organizers are confident that the expanded length of the fair will be a welcome change for the community, and a great way to kick off the summer holidays. “We know that the Beachburg Fair is a cherished tradition in our community, and we take that responsibility very seriously,” continues BAS president Dave MacKay. “We’re committed to making sure that every year is bigger and better than the last, and we believe that the changes we’ve made this year will only add to the excitement and fun of the event.”
