Prize Money: 1st – $25, 2nd – $22, 3rd – $20, 4th – $18, 5th – $15, 6th – $12, 7th – $10, All remaining entries – $5

Rules & Regulations:

  1. Show is open to any 4-H exhibitor, ages 9-21 as of January 1st, 2026 
  2. No registration fee
  3. All lambs must have CFIA tags. Animals without appropriate tags will not be allowed on the fairgrounds. 
  4. All animals must remain on grounds until completion of show or prize money will be forfeited. 
  5. All entries must be submitted by July 5th, 2026 on Assist Expo. 
  6. All exhibitors must be able to provide proof of liability insurance.

Classes:

Class 1: Senior Showmanship: 18-21 years as of January 1st, 2026

Class 2: Intermediate Showmanship: 15-17 years as of January 1st, 2026

Class 3: Junior Showmanship: 12-14 years as of January 1st, 2026

Class 4: Novice Showmanship: 9-11 years as of January 1st, 2026

Class 5: Champion Showperson
The 1st and 2nd from each showmanship class will be asked to return for Champion Showperson class. Showmanship classes may be combined on the day of the show depending on numbers. 

Class 6: Ewe lambs: Born after January 1st, 2026; fleece no more than ½” long

Class 7: Best Fibre Lamb : Born after January 1st , 2026; ewe or wether

Class 8: Market lambs: Born after January 1st, 2026; slick shorn within 7 days of show;

NOTE: Exhibitors may only enter one of Classes 6, 7 and 8

Class 9: Intro to Sheep: Open to anyone under 18 years of age who has not previously exhibited sheep; exhibitor will be provided with a lamb and a 5 minute coaching session by a 4-H member; may register for this class on day of show; may be divided into multiple classes, depending on number of registrants.

Prizes for Class 9: $5 and a ribbon for each exhibitor.

Class 10: Costume Class
Let’s see those creative costumes. Winner will receive a prize and a $10 coupon for Beachburg Burger Booth.
