Beachburg, Ontario – The Beachburg Agricultural Society (BAS) is proud to celebrate a remarkable milestone this year as the community celebrates the 170th anniversary of the Beachburg Fair. From July 9 to 12, 2026, the Beachburg Fairgrounds will once again come alive with four days of family fun, agricultural heritage, and entertainment for all ages.

As one of the region’s longest-running community events, the Beachburg Fair has been bringing people together for generations. This year’s celebration will honour that history while introducing exciting new experiences for visitors.

One of the biggest updates for 2026 is the introduction of a new midway partner, All Canadian Entertainment (ACE), Ontario’s leading midway provider. Known for their modern rides and family-friendly attractions, ACE will bring a vibrant midway to the fairgrounds.

Even more exciting, midway rides will now be included with fair admission.

“We heard from many members of the community that the previous system of buying admission and then purchasing ride tickets was frustrating. Costs quickly added up for our community members,” said Brenna Jansen, President of the Beachburg Agricultural Society. “This year we’re simplifying things. Your one-price fair admission will include access to the midway rides, all fair entertainment and live shows, making the experience easier and more enjoyable for families. This is a local tradition and celebration of our agricultural roots – we want it to be accessible and open to all to attend.”

Advanced ticket prices are $25 / day and will be for sale at select locations in June.

Alongside the new midway experience, visitors can look forward to a full lineup of entertainment and traditional fair favourites.

Highlights for the 170th Beachburg Fair include:

  • Modified Truck Pull – returning by popular demand
  • Demolition Derby – a long-standing crowd favourite
  • Live musical entertainment throughout the weekend
  • Agricultural shows and demonstrations celebrating local farming traditions
  • The Exhibition Hall featuring community displays and competitions
  • Children’s areas and family activities
  • Local vendors and classic fair food

For 170 years, the Beachburg Fair has been made possible by the dedication of volunteers, community organizations, and local businesses that believe in keeping this tradition alive.

As the Agricultural Society prepares for this milestone celebration, they are inviting community members, businesses, and organizations to get involved.

Those who would like to help support the 170th Beachburg Fair can do so by becoming a sponsor, volunteering their time, or partnering with the fair in a variety of ways.

“Reaching 170 years is something truly special,” reflected Jansen. “The Beachburg Fair exists because of the incredible support from our community, and the legacy dedication of past BAS directors. Volunteers and sponsors have always been at the heart of what makes our fair possible, and we welcome anyone who would like to be part of this historic celebration to reach out.”

Schedules and full event details will be shared in the coming months. Those interested in sponsoring or volunteering with the fair are encouraged to reach out to beachburgfair@gmail.com
